Analog Soul, the Brooklyn based twin sister dj collective, has been a mainstay in the New York underground scene for well over a decade. Known for their diversity in sound, the sisters aim to create soundscapes that explore a deeper, groovier side of house, Detroit techno, acid, electro and electronica. In 2004 the ladies secured a weekly radio spot on the famed eastvillageradio.com and the Analog Soul show was born. The long- running show aired every Monday night from 10pm-midnight and explored what they deemed “the deeper, darker side of techno and house”–but it also showcased the full spectrum of electronic music, from minimal, acid, Detroit techno, electro, dub, dubstep, and d&b to trip hop and other forms, with special guests ranging from Function to Simbad, Roland Appel, Slam Mode, and Dj Qu. Frequenting the likes of Bossa Nova Civic Club, Lebain, the late Output, Goodroom, Nowadays and many of the top underground events in Brooklyn and abroad, Analog Soul are set to join us in the Club Level on Saturday, September 17th.
