Boo Update! Our sweet Boo is still struggling, but he’s slowly on the mend. His lab results from @mashvet showed us that he has parainfluenza and corona virus. With his congestion and abnormally smaller nasal passages, it’s a daily struggle for him to breath adequately. As a result, he is on anti-anxiety medication to keep him as calm as possible, so he doesn’t get easily worked up, causing him to breath more excessively. He is currently with one of our amazing medical fosters who is a vet technician. She is helping nurse him back to health and is doing an amazing job. He’s been to @mashvet now a few times for oxygen treatment and he is in need of his nasal surgery to open his airways, but we HAVE to wait until he is fully recovered from his illnesses, so his surgery doesn’t provide a risk. He’s still very skinny, but he’s finally getting food daily and consistently, so his weight gain will be a process - but he’s doing better slowly everyday.
