Whether you are new to my work or not, it's important to me that I share how I got to where I am. Being named Best Photographer in Chicago this week has meant a lot to me. All of the overwhelming support and people saying it was deserved made me feel seen and appreciated. Thank you again This has been built on top of years of work. It doesn't happen over night. I tell my students that are looking to take photography more seriously that you really have to commit which sometimes means making sacrifices in other parts of your life. But this will not be my peak, and there is so much more I can improve upon. The key is remaining curious about the unknown and what can be discovered in the process. #photography #photographer #film
