Something has been missing lately. Something just hasn’t seemed right for me here on Instagram but I’ve finally worked out what it is. I’ve been putting so much pressure on myself since we moved house. Overthinking what I’ve put out here, there’s only a few corners worth photographing and we haven’t even applied for planning yet so nothing is changing anytime soon. It’s all peeling wallpaper and cracked plaster. When we lived at the old house every corner was worthy of a photo, I’d poured my heart and soul into it and I had so much to show you. I’ve not posted much since we moved in here and I’ve realised I’m quiet. I used to post all of the time and chat to you. It used to be like a wonderful personal diary and we all used to talk so much. By thinking I’ve got nothing to show I’ve stopped chatting. I took a deep dive back into my account and realised that some days, the photo is merely the carrier for the message, it doesn’t really matter what it is, it’s just there to hold up my words. So hey, I’ve missed you, I’m sorry I’ve put more value on images than words.
