Today is our birthday! #OnThisDay, in 1991, the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution 46/182 to strengthen the coordination of humanitarian emergency assistance, and OCHA was born. Every day, our colleagues around the 🌍 alert and inform, convene, advocate, shine a spotlight on forgotten crises and mobilize funding, so that aid workers have what they need to respond. 31 years after OCHA was established, we remain dedicated to helping humanitarians save the lives of people caught up in crises.
