a glitch in my edit program inspired me to go another way with this edit hahaha. I think it perfectly catched the message I wanted to bring over; how Daryl viewed and felt with his mom. My headcanon is that he's always been a mamas boy, I just need to be sure he was loved and cared for at some point in his childhood. She likely wasn't the best mom and struggled with addiction but I know she made him feel loved. She tried to protect him from her husband, and in the same way he tried to protect her from his father. Daryl was very emotional, clingy and sensitive.
