17 YEARS... Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. A time to reflect. This is where I get deep and meaningful about my best pal, sister-inlaw, auntie to my kids and the best person ever to start a caf with. 17 years ago today, we donned our red aprons and black t-shirts and got on the good-ship Breakfast Club. On the 22nd of August 2005 the mothership on D’Arblay Street opened its doors and waited for its first customer. We waited quite a while. To everyone who says don’t work with friends and family - who are you kidding! (We only ever argued about 327 times) To everyone who’s supported us over the years and always made today a good day - your @joyclark7 ‘s of this world - you mean the world to us. To the wonderful team who built this city on bacon rolls - you are glorious. Always have been.
