Birthday celebration 1.5 with my girls/day ones. We cried. We laughed. They made me feel loved. We talked about high school memories and the wizards. We talked about love and family. But most importantly, we had a beautiful night of enjoying the women we are becoming. It’s rare to know people from childhood through adulthood, and I’ve known most of the women at that table since I was 14. There are so many women I am proud to have known for decades. Every single friendship matters to me. Thankful for my sisters who see me, have seen me, and will always see me- whether I’m on stage or on their couches with no make up and sweats. Honored that I have so many friends I can do this with and honored that these women have been down for me since the day I met them at Jones Haywood School of Ballet, SJC, or with the Wizards.
