This little guy is going to school tomorrow for the first time 😲 so today I’m giving him extra snuggles and even decided to let him cling to me (literally) while I put on my makeup.
Despite slobbery facial tools and a finger dip into my lip gloss, I’d say this went pretty well!
Now you give it a try! Here are my tips for putting on a quick face of makeup while holding a baby:
1️⃣Choose products that you can apply with a brush, so you don’t need to worry about cleaning your hands. Here I’m using the same brush for all of my complexion products.
2️⃣Don’t be tempted to skip brows...just use a gel or a pencil that allows you to draw little strokes til you get it just right.
3️⃣Use an eyeshadow in a format that’s easy to use with one hand. This particular eyeshadow stick is a life-hack, IMO!
4️⃣Try this eyeliner technique, that doesn’t require precision or skill. I’ll do a tutorial soon!
5️⃣Just don’t bother trying to curl your lashes...use a mascara that builds in some lift and curl, really settle the wand into the base of your lashes, and blink into each swipe.
6️⃣Choose lip gloss or tinted balm - something lightly pigmented and forgiving so you don’t need to worry about staying in the lines.

If makeup helps you feel like the best version of yourself, then don’t let #momlife get in the way! If it’s important to you, make it happen ✨
Now here’s a challenge: can you figure out which of Benjy’s favorite songs we were bouncing along to in this video? Watch again and drop your guess below! 👇🏻👇🏻
