We’re taking this renovation one nook at a time and it’s so unbelievably satisfying 🤤 The bedroom of our bungalow had a really bad infestation of carpet moths, walls in dire need of filling and a whole load of re-wiring and re-plumbing to be done! But it’s getting so close to being *mostly* done now (because when is a room ever REALLY ‘done’!?) and I’m so excited! So much #renovation content coming next year, both on here and YouTube! ◦ Carpet - from the @deskellyinteriors_ ‘sweet dreams’ collection! It’s the softest carpet I’ve ever walked on, we’ve put it in all of the bedrooms 😍 Des Kelly supply and fit from start to finish (they have 9 stores across Dublin, Meath & Kildare and often have incredible discounts!) ◦ Old chest of drawers - @the_vintage_hub ... one of my favourite places to find absolute gems for the house! This was in tatters when we first saw it, it was a prop on a film set years ago, but the vintage hub guys restored it for us before we bought it and we’re completely in love! ◦ Paint - Light blue no.22 by @farrowandball (found f&b in @murtaghsofdrogheda and went with this colour after struggling for months to choose a bedroom colour and then Googling ‘what’s the most relaxing bedroom colour!?’ 😂 Over and over again, blue won out!) ... I’m not the biggest fan of blue but warm it up with rich wood and gold and yes, yes please! ◦ Mirror is from @wayfair.ie ~ I am so glad there’s an Irish branch! Found out about Wayfair via @arielbissett and @thegoodsitter, they’re an online only shop but literally have every style of decor you can imagine!
