I am so grateful to everyone who made this (STAGED ELOPEMENT) possible. It was truly a work of art and so many people came together to make it happen. What did we do? We came joined forces to show the world what the wedding industry CAN and DOES look like away from the spotlight. We are an interabled, interracial, and queer couple and our love is worthy. I have never seen myself or people like me represented in the wedding world. Hell, I didn’t imagine myself now in my own wedding! I always thought I would have to work hard to conform and morph myself into something I am not to be worthy of a beautiful wedding. I’m also incredibly grateful to @marissasoliniphoto for her vision and the execution of this whimsical elopement. She dreamt it up, put together a plan, and contacted every single vendor who participated. I’m so thankful for her passion for what she does. I love to see our love through her lens. I hope these images light a spark in the wedding world. I hope people will see the potential they have in including diverse vendors and models. I hope that one day there will be marriage equality for people with disabilities. Thank you @greenweddingshoes for seeing our hearts and sharing them with the world. I couldn’t possibly share all of my faves in this me post so, PREPARE TO BE SICK OF ME! * Photographer/Planner - @marissasoliniphoto * Couple - @addtheextram & @cataliinaaa * Florist/Stylist - @theslowcult * Accessibility Consultant - Syren Nagakyrie of @disabledhikers * Vow Books - @ecstatic_ceremonies * MUA - @shantillyartistry * Baker - @hereforthecakes * Barber - @thecraftsmenbarbershop * Rings - @ringedportland * Dress - @jessakae * Suit - @sumissura * Bow Tie - @crookedbranchstudio * Celebratory Mead - @addtheextram * Lanterns - @barebonesliving * Submission Services - @publishedandpretty
