During a very lonely time at the height of the pandemic when we were all forced to go inside and reflect on our inner self and be alone with our thoughts, I got a message from @harlanhue. He asked me to come over to his apartment to be photographed for a painting he had in mind. I was given the instructions to wear clothing I’ve made, something I rarely do. Having never seen myself reflected in any artwork, I hesitantly agreed. During a time where I was alone, not feeling confident in myself or my outward appearance, something pushed me to do this without knowing of the outcome. Two years later, this is the result.
