We are pleased to share an exhibition in Bogotá, @morcharpentier with Carlos Motta and Daniel Correa Mejía’s: Cuerpos en gravedad. The exhibition questions the innocent gaze on the body, looking at preconceived ideas about the contemporary male experience. Both Colombian artists return to the country through a show which seeks to express the concept of vulnerability that comes from a subjective intimacy that links them with a broader context of collective struggles. The works discuss our look upon bodily expression, questioning the direction of these discourses and their role in the historic oppression of minorities.
