Hasson holds the famous Pulitzer-prize winning photo that made him the face of the Rohingya refugee crisis in August 2017. 5 years later, Hasson, who is now 13, is still a refugee in Bangladesh, along with more than 930,000 Rohingya who remain in camps in the Cox’s Bazar region. But his smiling face is in sharp contrast to the image of him from 2017, as he has taken up a camera himself and learned the language of photography.
