Long overdue post 📝 Olympic Trials 2024. What a journey it has been. In some ways it felt foreign to be racing at the big stage again, in other ways it felt like I never left. I missed 5 years of competitive racing due to healing physically & mentally from back surgery in 2019 - The chapter I never wanted or saw coming in my pro running career. It’s hard to feel proud of myself because I feel like this year’s performances were just a shell of my full potential. I’m doing my best to change that narrative in my head and take everything as a positive step. This past season marks the end of chapter for me. I am ready to let go of my injury & down years. I’m ready to stop explaining & excusing my post injury performances & move on. This next year marks a new chapter, with a fresh training location in Manhattan, KS at @kstatetfxc ! I’m SUPER excited to work with and alongside the student athletes as we go after some BIG goals in 2025! I don’t know how or when my little story ends, but I do know that I’m going to enjoy every step that I have left in these legs! 🪽 Thank you to everyone who has supported me and reached out during this last season & moving forward!
