Chicano Park Day, 2019. The first few photos of my photographing career that granted me a lot of my successes within these past few years of shooting. I am grateful to the community for allowing me to document such important moments, especially with the unknown and unforeseen circumstance that we could not celebrate such a day for two years running now. Luckily, many are still finding ways to celebrate and one being a fundraiser for Chicano Park Day hosted by @copalytierra, @artbypetrikowski y @chicanoartgallery featuring artists selling prints, including myself, with 50% or 100% being donated to @chicanopark_official. (More info on their pages) Last photo in this set, titled “Chicanita”, an original 22x30 print featured in the opening gallery for “La Tierra Mia” first edition, will be available for sale at the fundraiser, 3-8 pm.
