Ooh! What a thrill to be nominated for an ARIA award this year for Best Adult Contemporary! Massive shoutout to everyone who played and sang on this album and made it so special, in particular my incredible co-producer @bbbadlove (Brendon Love) 🌟 These songs were originally written for and inspired by the ABC drama Total Control, but when I went back to expand them into full songs they became about so much more. I’m really proud of it as a body of work and what it says about gender equality, the power of unashamedly owning your story, and how sometimes anger is the only reasonable response.
