What if you showed up for them today? Oh what joy - For you both. It took me a while to become a shelter volunteer. I, too, was worried it would be ‘too sad’. But NOW - it would be too sad NOT TO BE THERE. Volunteers bring love, kindness, comfort. These babes are missing their people. They would love to spend some time with you just hanging out. Most are house trained and can’t WAIT to get out of their kennels even for 5 minutes for a potty break. Some too scared and overwhelmed could benefit from you just sitting quietly in their kennels and catching up on your IG post 😏 Yes, I want to take everyone of them home, everyday. But they’ve got work to do and are here for someone specific. Our job as volunteers is to help them find their way to them. Please consider becoming a rescue or shelter volunteer.
