#ArtAthina2022 opens its doors today and we are ready to welcome you all! This year’s edition presents a rich program, featuring 81 galleries from Greece and abroad, as well as a parallel artistic program divided in sections covering a wide range of creative interests. Here’s a quick guide how to navigate this year’s fair: The program of exhibitors is composed by the sections Main, Highlights, Feature and Projects. The MAIN section of the fair consists of Greek galleries spread in the central spaces of Zappeion Mansion. HIGHLIGHTS is composed of international galleries invited by the artistic director, Stamatia Dimitrakopoulos and the section FEATURE will present galleries from abroad selected by independent curator, Kate Caruso, based in Los Angeles. The section Projects will present booths by independent art spaces. The parallel artistic program consists of the section DESIGN presenting Greek and international participants while LIVE TALKS & ART ATHINA PODCAST will be hosting discussions with guest artists, museum directors and established curators. The section FILM & NEW MEDIA SPACE will present a series of screenings open to the public, organised in collaboration with the video and NFT online platform Daata. Finally the architectural studios Lot Office for Architecture and Point Supreme will be showcasing their work at the PAVILIONS section, outdoors, at the entrance of the Zappeion Mansion.
