Vietnamese Platter A taste of Vietnam Impress your friends and family with this platter over the holidays 🙌 This was super quick to make with the hubby helping.If you love Vietnamese food this one is for you! We got all our ingredients from our local Asian market (Hen Long Market located in Surrey, BC) We got the nem nướng and shrimp paste sticks from the frozen aisle. Baked the nem nướng and fried the shrimp sticks. The spring roll sticks was made with wrappers that we tightly rolled and deep fried. For the bánh hỏi we cooked it by pouring boiling water over it, soaked for one minute then immediately poured into a large container with cold water to stop it from getting over cooked and breaking apart. Then took it out of the cold water after another minute and let it settle. It might look like it’s not fully cooked but after it sat for awhile it got more soft and perfect. We got the bánh bèo from the deli section at the market. To assemble we laid down some fresh lettuce, placed all our items on our board and added some finishing touches with cucumbers and green onion oil.
