Local business appreciation post: after traveling for two weeks through the wondrous landscapes of Texas, Arizona, Nevada and California... my skin resembled a desert of eroded rock particles and my face had effectively bloomed a prickly pear. I arrived in Joshua Tree, California and after relating a little too well to the Cholla cactus I had stopped to see there, I booked into Naturalives day spa (naturalives.com). Elizabeth @lizabethdorsey gave me a fantastic deep tissue massage which proved that mobility was still on offer to me in this life and then I had a facial with Kassidy (@kassidy_martin) who is pictured here with me. Kassidy trained as a WELDER in Boston (badass) and is a brilliant esthetician. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this special place on Hallee road. @naturalivesinjt
