One tip for a strong practice - Put the time in. Do your practice and practice with good teachers, ones who challenge you. Practice with good form. Every time you move you create “muscle memory” you are either creating good habits and progressing, or you are creating bad habits you’ll deal with later.
Your basic poses aren’t basic. They strengthen you and teach you body awareness prepping you for the next step. You don’t run before learning to walk - don’t rush the basics.
Remember. You can’t expect a lot from your body if you are not giving a lot to your body. Same with your yoga practice. You have to put the time in. Body, mind and spirit.
