Over the past 4 months we have been working with youth from across the City of Los Angeles and with the LA City Youth Council to design the logo for the Youth Development Department. This is the first time a city department has created a logo with 100% youth input and selection process. We'd like to give a special thank you to @legacy_la @investinyouthco for their partnership with us on this process, @mayorsfundla for making this project possible through their generous sponsorship, artist @i.m.carolina for facilitating the design concept process with our youth, @mrodcd7 for her vision and leadership, Roselly Monegro @theinkingrose our amazing artist on this project for her amazing designs and to the 30 members of the LA City Youth Council and all the other youth that gave their input and shared designs throughout the creative process!
