Very happy that @found_studio asked me to write a foreword on their new Portraits series (the subject is something of a personal obsession). Portraits investigates the liminal spade between representation and abstraction. Using LiDAR scanning data, Found rendered suggestions of the human form, adding materials and movement to find the precise point in which a portrait becomes legible.
