In honor of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, I hosted a beautiful event for @sephora and #HeartsNotHate to have an honest community conversation about hate in the digital space. Thank you to @drewafualo, @rarebeauty, and those who came to support this effort. At Sephora, our strength lies in inspiring the courage to explore and authentically express oneself, fostering a sense of belonging. Hearts Not Hate is an extension of this ethos and helps to create safer spaces. Together, we are embracing the creative ethos of "yes and" as a go-to response to online hate. I love the tone of this approach because it squashes hate, feels compassionate, but also creates accountability. This serves as a reminder to be kind. We never know what someone is going through behind the facade of curated social media. Let's work together to create a space where we can all belong to something beautiful ♥️
