Hi friends!!! There’s so many new faces here, so it’s time for a little reintroduction!! Im Kacie! I was born in Canton, Michigan, but moved to NYC at 17 to pursue my BFA in dance and then continued to dance professionally in NYC and around the US after. In 2018 I decided to take a solo trip to Italy where I met Dario ☺️ We did a year of long-distance, and then he moved to NYC for a year. Long story short, the pandemic caused me to stop and reevaluate if I was happy doing what I was doing and the answer was no. SOOO when it came time for Darios visa to be up, we decided to move back to Italy together ☺️ I fell in content creation completely by accident because I started making tiktok videos for fun while in 2-week mandatory quarantine upon arrival in Italy. It grew into something bigger than I ever could’ve imagined and half the time I ask myself what in the heck I’m doing BUT I promised myself to always keep it real on here so that’s what I’ll continue to do - you’ll see the good, the bad, the beautiful, the surprising, and my many, many missteps 😅 In between creating content I also give travel consultations, write e-books, and now host group tours throughout italy! It’s exhausting but also more incredibly fulfilling than I ever dreamed it could be. I know how to cook 3 things: eggs, salads, and sandwiches (let’s just say it’s a good thing Dario is a chef). I’ve watched The Office upwards of 87 times, I absolutely LOVE surprises, my all-time favorite junk food is Cheetos (regular crunchy - no flaming hot). I think culture differences are the coolest things in the world and that there’s always something positive you can take away from any situation. This is a judgement-free page where we lift each other up, lead with kindness, ask questions, grow, and learn about each other openly and respectfully. I will root for you in everything you do and will constantly tell you to do the shit that scares you because life’s just too short not to and you are SO much more capable than you think you are.
