Last week, Kelly Hall-Tompkins served up a blend of activism and performance as she took the stage at The O'Shaughnessy. The internationally acclaimed concert violinist and social changemaker appeared as part of the Women of Color Leadership Series by Katie Leadership Impact. Inspired by Hall-Tompkins' own nonprofit Music Kitchen - Food for the Soul, students organized the annual St. Kate's Empty Bowls soup social before the performance, with proceeds benefiting St. Kate's/CSJ Food Access Hub to address food insecurity.
