I love bajas, and am still smiling but it was a disappointing day today! We’ve had brake failure since the start, we felt it on the shakedown but haven’t been able to figure out what’s up. Lost stacks of time against the clock as I haven’t been able to push, because I just couldn’t stop the car since the first 5km. We covered over 402km today 🏔 🏜 It’s a shame because last year we were P3 on the first day of my first cross country rally, so we know we can have pace in this style of rally, but it’s not to be today. We’re sitting in P9 /21 in the category. We caught over 10 cars in (so much 😂😮‍💨) dust because we were seeded quite far back. Hopefully we should start further in the heat of the pack tomorrow.
