Breaking from a two year hiatus, October was the month The Rose made their much anticipated return to music. Inspired by the resilience of their fans - the Black Roses - during the hardships of the last two years, their latest album ‘Heal’ centres around the idea of music as a holistic medium: “Through the ups and the downs, whatever it is, if the music can get you through the day that’s what we want, and that’s our purpose as musicians,” mentions Woosung.
Prior to their latest release, the band hit a yet another milestone after becoming the first K-Pop partners of social media platform Discord, as they merged URL with IRL in anticipation of the growing industry. Now in the midst of a world tour and having recently joined with agency Transparent Arts, we asked them what they were most excited for for the remainder of 2022: “I’m super excited about the album and what is to come with that, but I’m also excited to be starting a journey with our new partners...Transparent Arts is our first time with a global entertainment agency, and it’s exiting to see what they have in store,” mentions Hajoon.
