The kids are mostly alright, but I feel the need to stress to all the impressionable youth out there: if you want to date women, NB people, or trans people, you need to accept that they are part of a marginalized group and that this kind of discourse, deflection, dog-whistling & whataboutism is super harmful to them. And that it is not okay to seek relationships with marginalized people who you haven’t learned not to harm yet. It’s also 100% okay to be single while you figure yourself out as a person. It’s not okay to perpetuate this type of language or silence people who are marginalized in relation to the privilege you have. #relationships #racism #feminism
