The biggest question I get asked all the time is, “how do you have a Rottweiler in NYC” I personally think the Rottweiler breed is the #1 breed of dog there is. Why? Well yes I’m completely biased here but hear me out. They are the biggest goofballs. Absolutely love playing. With you or other dogs. Always up for a good time. And most of the time think they’re lap dogs...100lbs+ lap dogs. They sleep 16-20 hours a day. Literally a solid 10 hours every night. Then 3-4 hour naps throughout the day. They sleep like they don’t have to pay taxes...unbelievable! They don’t shed that much at all so easy kept. No groomer needed. They love being trained and need to be trained so they listen to what you say. Highly intelligent. This helps tire them out to help them sleep too. And from a living in NYC perspective they’re amazing for protection. Ain’t no one breaking into your apartment. I couldn’t recommend this dog breed highly enough and especially to woman because ain’t no one messing with you if you’re walking down the street with a Rottweiler. I bring Dougal everywhere with me.
