I spoke about this at the event today but wanted to reiterate here — the two times I’ve given birth and held my new baby, it’s haunted my thoughts more than I’d like to admit, about how some mothers struggle so much. It is a struggle in general being a new mom, but to have little to zero necessities... I can’t imagine. I don’t want to live in a world where people are forced to use newspapers as diapers simply because they have no other option (yes, this actually happens!). I know we can’t change the entire world, but hopefully we can change a few people’s lives.
