Sotheby’s Brilliant & Black: the Age of Enlightenment. I will put together a proper recap post from the opening event, but for now please enjoy this video of my “orbit hoop” that I created specifically for this years show. These earrings feature diamonds, aquamarines, moonstones, opals, and pearls. I wanted them to feel light and ethereal and “enlightened”.... And maybe a little cosmic. I love the way these different stones play together- they all sparkle and shine in their own unique ways and really remind me of a solar system. The movement was also super important to me when designing these- I wanted to make sure they were all connected in a way that allowed them to move together as one but also rotate and shine separately from one another 🪐 In reflection- that is sort of what @melaniecgrant did when she put together us artists for this exhibition 🤯 ❤️🙏🏽 Age of Enlightenment is open to the public and is on display at Sotheby’s london location Sept 22-Oct 2
