FITTINGS ____________________ The beginning of this video we were talking about her first dress. I can’t wait to tell you about it. When I met Esther, she and her stylist @concordia.atelier let me know how EXTRAORDINARY her dresses needed to be. We went back and forth so many times, honestly she was more than patient, I wanted to create pieces you had never seen before. It had to be the INSPIRATION. It needed to be on every bride’s mood board. Honestly, I had been out of work for 6 months, a new mum... a lot to the dresses I make are dresses I would want to wear but at this point I was feeling wellll blah... uninspired. The spirit of God reminded me of who I AM. I know what I am good at and stay in my lane. My job is to show off the woman’s body using fabric and beadwork. My job is to make sure when you walk into the room, people will discuss how you looked and believe they can have it as well. My job is to make you FEEL AMAZING because you can look good but not FEEL GOOD. Her second dress wasn’t finished here but at this point I was more than happy. Esther truly trusted me and I am thankful 🙏 A few of my staff had corona on this day and of course I was worried because of my brand new baby but sometimes, SOMETHINGS HAVE TO BE DONE.
