Happy birthday my sweet Michaya Grace, my favorite person in the whole entire world I sit here in a hotel in Albany, New York, 4000 miles away from where I want to be right now. I’ve known Michaya for a while now, and I know that I love life so much more when she’s in it. That’s what makes it so hard to be apart on such a special day. But I’ve learned distance makes the heart grow fonder, and man is my heart fond of Michaya Grace. She makes my life so full of joy and laughter. There’s (obviously) never a dull moment in life with Michaya. Her heart to be obedient to the Lord in everything astounds and at the same time convicts me.
