Absolutely shocked and devastated by the sudden death of my friend and conductor Tom Hammond. Tom was the first conductor I played with in the UK, we performed together for the first time in the summer 2018. We got on so well that it led to many more performances together, Tom was such a wonderful human being and musician, I can’t quite believe he’s gone! Rest in peace Tom Hammond
