It is important to us to have a BoD composed of people directly impacted by oppressive systems that our work aims to uproot, so we prioritize people who have experienced incarceration, people of marginalized genders and sexualities, people living with HIV/AIDS, and Black people who believe in the goal of completely ending the criminal-punishment system for building a more just world.
