before writing out this caption, I sat in my car for a good half hour absorbing this moment. just a year ago, I was working 50-60 hour weeks GRAVEYARD shifts to keep my days open in the hopes of booking work. I remember feeling so hopeless and exhausted, I almost called it quits on my dream. but as soon as I remembered my why, I just knew I had to keep going. the little brown girl in me needed to feel seen and do this for all the other girls who never felt they were worthy or being represented. for anyone reading this, please let this be your sign to keep going. whatever your dreams are or whatever it is you want to accomplish, I’m rooting for you 💛✨ I absolutely couldn’t do this without @janebelfry and @callmebyraven.
