Bridgetown is the capital and the largest city. Barbados was a British colony and preserved traditions of those years — five o'clock tea, golf, cricket, and polo. It's not for nothing that the island is still called "Little England." Like many Caribbean resorts, this island is famous for its tropical beaches with palm trees and white sand.
