This is one of those rules that applies to everything, not just cake... Round pans, loaf pans, sheet cakes, cupcakes, muffins, any size, any recipe! Whenever batter is going into a pan, the sweet spot is 1⁄2 to 2⁄3 full. Why it works: • Less than 1⁄2 full and your bake dries out or bakes unevenly • More than 2⁄3 full and you risk overflow, sinking centers, or dense texture • That middle range gives batter room to rise, bake evenly, and set properly It doesn’t matter if it’s chocolate cake, banana bread, or cupcakes. Pan size changes, recipe changes, bake time changes. The rule stays the same. Save this for the next time you’re standing in the kitchen wondering if you added too much batter!♥️🎂 #GoodTaste101 #BakingBasics #HomeBakingTips #BakingEducation #CakePanTips
