Flowers 4 Sale is Cenon at Mav's first solo exhibition in Santa Rosa, Laguna produced by Cultivating a Garden and M:ST Performative Art, in partnership with Kau'i Coffee, Ogab Ilab - Unli Grill, Krispy Cartel Brothers and The Happy Print Haus. Cenon at Mav works with photography and image manipulation as their main tools to capture personal/collective narratives layered with their musings for sculptural abstractions Their images spark interest in their audiences - whether online, on publications or looking at the framed prints they produce for commercial exhibitions. They create balance involving varying degrees of realities (personal, even societal) and superstitions (folkloric and the urban), which resonate to the many conditions of being human. "Cultivating a Garden" is an endeavor to propagate and support creative projects within the locality of our neighborhood (starting at Sta. Rosa, Laguna) and the larger communities we serve in our society. An attempt for a local ecology by Zeus Bascon for the M:ST 10 artist residency program in Canada co-presented by Stride Gallery and Kamias Special Projects.
