🍇Gevrey Chambertin è una denominazione riconosciuta già nel 1936. Da quando vi soggiornò per qualche tempo come giovane ufficiale d’artiglieria, il vino prodotto da questi vigneti fu sempre il preferito di Napoleone. Si narra che ne avesse sempre (almeno) una bottiglia invecchiata di 5 o 6 anni con sé e che lo trasportasse ovunque, non è difficile crederlo sapendo che dichiarava: «Il vino ispira e contribuisce enormemente alla gioia di vivere». Partendo per l’Egitto ne portò con sé troppe casse, che non bevve interamente e che, una volta riportate in Francia si rivelarono ancora perfette nonostante il viaggio e il calore. Che si tratti di un semplice denominazione di origine controllata, di Premier Cru o di uno dei 9 Grands Crus, i Gevrey Chambertin sono vini da gustare preferibilmente invecchiati per un’esperienza sensoriale divina. • • 🇬🇧Gevrey Chambertin is a recognized appellation as early as 1936. Since staying there for some time as a young artillery officer, the wine produced from these vineyards has always been Napoleon's favorite. It is said that he always had (at least) one bottle aged 5 or 6 years with him and that he carried it everywhere, it is not difficult to believe it knowing that he declared: «Wine inspires and contributes enormously to the joy of living». Leaving for Egypt he brought with him too many crates, which he did not drink entirely and which, once brought back to France, proved to be still perfect despite the journey and the heat.
