All my folks know I love Coca-Cola and that I hate the feeling it gives me over time. Been fighting to be free of soda's hold for many years now. Recently, doctor said I got a window to prevent this Diabetes & I decided to take it. . Wrote this phrase because even as I'm growing into valuing my internal health more, my vanity can still be a powerful motivator, so I thought I'd play to it in this phrase. Plus, the rhyme helps remind me every time I'm at the grocery store, or it's late night after the show, or I'm just sitting alone choosing to feel sorry for myself and am in danger of acting out through carbonated corn syrup. . I do so love the taste, but my immune system, my mobility, my endurance, my teeth, my skin, my blood all suffer for it, so I'm continuing the work to remove this pillar of sugar from my life. So many years, but not gonna give up. Maybe I get to one every 3 months. Every Victory Counts. Moving it forward one choice at a time.
