Mini Apple Crisp Skillets π
what you need:
Crumble:
π2 tbsp butter, browned,
π1 tbsp + 1 tsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
π1β4 cup all purpose flour
π2 tbsp rolled oats
π1β4 tsp cinnamon
πPinch of saltβ¨
Apples:
π1 apple, cored, peeled, and diced into small chunks
π1 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
π1 tbsp @oat.haus Original Granola Butter
π1β2 tsp lemon juice
π1β4 tsp vanilla extract
π1β4 tsp cinnamon
πPinch of salt
π¦Ice cream for servingβ¨
how to make it:
1. Preheat the oven to 375F. Butter 3 small cast irons, ramekins, or baking dishes; set aside.
2. For the crumble, in a small bowl mix together the browned butter and coconut or brown sugar.
3. Then, mix in the flour, rolled oats, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until a crumbly mixture forms.
4. In a separate small bowl, mix the apples, coconut or brown sugar, granola butter, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Divide the apple mixture among the prepared baking dishes, and evenly top each with the crumble.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the apples are soft and bubbling, and the crumble is golden brown.
7. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream if desired.
