Embracing this, both energies within me, has helped me crawl, walk, fly towards what’s good for me during those glimpses of time where I feel confused. This darkness usually takes over when I silence my spirit by trying to fit in a mold I was born to redesign. These clouded thoughts appear when I try to control the uncontrollable. Surrendering to the beautiful and transformative process that is life, has been my medicine. Prioritizing mental, spiritual and physical health has been my medicine. Being patient with myself has been my medicine. Crying it out has been my medicine. YES! Our bodies release excess energy through tears, screams, laughter, dance, singing and orgasms. We all have the tools within us to heal.
