I wake up every day to the truth and reality of what this world and life is, so when my wildest dreams comes true I’m moved to tears. I never imagine a world where someone like me would ever be considered beautiful or hold the spaces I do now. To work with women and talents that I’ve been truly defined, moved and inspired by throughout my life. I wake up to a world where I’m Black - Trans - Curve, three categories that I’m meant to represent, three categories that do not speak about my humanity, character, my love, my joy, my complexity, my individuality. my struggles.
