Iconic actor, comedian and longtime champion of Chicano art Cheech Marin was on hand to open The Cheech, a new museum of Chicano Art and Culture by the Riverside Art Museum. The 16,420 square foot museum (yes 420!), housed in the former Riverside city main public library has over 100 paintings, drawings, sculptures from Cheech’s personal collection.
