My dad moved from Cairo, Egypt to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1969. The first job he got was driving a taxi even though he had a college degree in Chemistry from The University of Cairo. This isn’t a rare story. Almost every cab driver I’ve ever met has had something important to tell me or some sort of wisdom to share and i’ve always listened.
