“Bloom” or as the locals titled it “Una flor del desierto” 😅🌵🌺 is a landscape that combines flora and fauna relaying the message that we are all one. 12’ x 120’ Acrylic on stucco 2025 for @controlfestival in Cd. Juarez, Ch. Mexico. It was magical to intervene public space in a neighborhood I spent so much time in as a child and to see the love, resilience, generosity of the people of Juarez. Much love to all the organizers, specially @pilopida_jfc , kukuy, Barron, my one day assistant @Olmo_rl , to all the support staff and organizations that made this project possible and to @Geraluz for holding down the fort. 💖 I had a couple of days to create and develop the design and I chose to focus on the mystique of the Chihuahuan desert. Although it camouflages its vibrancy fairly well, plant medicine can help unblock vision to see the radiant energy contained within these arid landscapes.
