In January of 2020 my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer. While visiting with her in the hospital we embarked on writing a song together. She wanted to make this a “fully realized recording” with strings, horns, percussion & drums to help convey the message. I made the promise to her that I would absolutely make it happen. I was lucky enough to capture her voice on this song two short months before her passing. It became our theme for whenever things got a little turned around. My goal is to record and fully produce the rest of this song as we imagined for a release on her birthday next month. October 16, 2022.
